The cover is bright but with a mix of subtle colours with a portrait of Rumy done in Malika Favre style of illustration.
The book is broadly divided into two parts- her life before marriage and their journey thereafter. It flows through a timeline from 1980, her birth year to early youth, to beautiful marriage and then the birth of their two marvellous sons. Colours used for the inside pages of the book have a comforting tone to it with minimal illustrations around, to bring out warmth of messages and pictures.
Part one (1980-2002) captures her early youth with birthday wishes from parents, siblings, cousins and childhood friends.
Part two (2003-2005) captures the beginning of a beautiful journey as a partner together.
Our first miracle (2006-2008) is about their first born- Neel; the time they spent together, experiencing all the firsts of parenthood, a journey truly mesmerising.
Happily ever after (2009-2012) is about the birth of their second son Veer and the fun moments and trips spent together as a whole complete family
Growing together (2013-2020) in family, in friendships, in new life experiences.
